Our team will test water flow and ensure there are no hidden blockages causing water to back up or overflow. If we find a severe blockage in a downpipe that runs straight into the ground — which we generally don’t recommend — we may advise you to contact a drainage specialist for a proper inspection. However, if the downpipe is detachable and ends in a small horseshoe pipe, we can usually unblock these during our visit unless the gutters have not been cleared for a very long time.

3. Visual Inspection & Gutter Clipping

While we’re up there, we also keep an eye out for any signs of damage. That might include cracks, loose brackets, or sections that are starting to pull away from the wall. If we spot any gutters that have come loose, we’ll clip them back into place to ensure they’re secure. Spotting these issues early can help prevent bigger (and more expensive) problems later on.

4. Optional Extras

Depending on your needs, we can remove or install gutter guards – just let us know when booking. These extras are available for a small additional fee.
